Big ray
Just found this one, Chatham hill, it seems that no one was hurt but the cafe' had to be demolished. This sort of "accident" was known to happen when the driver took the Diamond "T" out of gear and coasted down hill, they would be pumping on the brakes to check the speed, only to find that they were not replacing the air, by the time that they realized they struggled to try to get back into gear, gaining more speed all the time and losing control. Richard Farrant
About time the dust was knocked off this thread... no info on this, just a random web find. Looks like a Royal Engineer's Scammell Constructor. Were they testing the limit of the Bailey bridge? If so, I think they found it :undecided:

Bob Grundy
What a load of tripe that lot is, indulging the artist no doubt.....
Great War truck
I think that lot is in the Lebanon. It was more of a way of demilitarising the militias than art. If it is to be taken as art then it is a rubbish art.
David Herbert
The 'artisticly' placed upside down one is an Israeli conversion of a Sherman, fitted with HVSS suspension and the wider tracks and a diesel conversion (I think they were Cummins). I think that one was a M4A4 because of the bogie spacing but it is a bit hard to see. David
Great War truck
It is the Lebanese "Hizballah War theme park". There is a clip of film about it here http://content.time.com/time/video/player/0,32068,593331362001_2013651,00.html So, no one bears a grudge then and they can all be friends again........
