I've a interest of kitchen gear. I do believe the best way to cook a meal is with power and steel! I've gathered a few photos, historic, present and also stolen a few from other sites. The latter one I don't think would be nice to upload since I don't remember the source and it might be someone on this board who ownes them. I will however send them to you.

Some of my own has been posted before, but just close your eyes and thin k of something else...

I'm starting with what might be our GMC if we don't decide to put a infantery bridge on the back of it. The first photos are of the american M-(19)37 petrol field kitchen and some of it's gear. They used to have a set of 3 of these in the "kitchen" Jimmies. I put one in the back of my Dodge only for transportation purpouse.

In the late eighties you could walk round the Auto Jumble at Great Dorset Steam Fair and several traders were selling Coal fired cooking ranges with a "broad Arrow" cast into them. They were almost all dated 1953. I thought about buying one.

In the last three years one of these (again dated 1953) came up for sale in a junk shop in Woodhall Spa, but it wasn't pristine as the Dorset ones had been. In fact it would have taken a lot f work to brig it rund.

Where would these big heavy solid fuel coking ranges have been indinted to be used?
