Markheliops
Hi Neil. Hope you are fully repaired by time the OT arrives. You need to be fully flexible just to get in it. If you're not - I'll repay the favour I owe you for towing me at Beltring, by lifting you with the WLF. :-D Markheliops
Tony B
Visions of the old Knight's in armour being lifted onto horses coming to mind. :-D Total garbage the armour was flexible enough to mont. I can lend you a tank suit with the strap in the back  Well worth getting one, the Dutch two zipper is the best I've found, maybe Joris can find one? ArtistsRifles
Had no problems getting in and out of Richards improptu demonstrator at Beltring this year... :-) Unlike the Spartan I'd tried earlier..... :shake:
ArtistsRifles
Aerial sections arrived from Army Radio Surplus todat - complete with the proper stowage bags. ArtistsRifles
Here we have the latest "must-have" accessory for any owner of former Warsaw Pact armoured vehicles: http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d146/ArtistsRifles/Czech%20OT-90%20APC/OT-90_.jpg[/img] as modelled by the Daughter Mk1 - founder of the Barnes-Wallace school of bowling!!!
ArtistsRifles
NEWS!!!!! Heard from Richard tonight - the transporter is scheduled to arrive Monday, possibly Tursday next week. Seems they had to take a rather devious route across Europe due to transit permission issues And the icing on the cake - a new film clip's been posted up on the RussianTruck web site showing the OT-90 in action at Beltrting this year which not only includes Andres (in)famous power slides but also footage of my Stalwart wading through the arena mud prior to Operation WLF Recovery the next day.....  http://www.russiantruck.co.uk/images/films/OT90-W&P-2007.wmv Link again with acknowledgement to Russian Trucks. abn deuce
Seems to me that the Russian or Soviet Vehicles lack a bit in the Muffler department as they tend to be very loud or at least louder than other nationalities
ArtistsRifles
You think so? Must admit - to me the OT sounds not a lot louder than the Stalwarts B81.. I'd agree the OT reaches max loudness quicker though... :-)
Tony B
OH Goddy, it will arrive just in time for the snow!! (Well hopefully) :dunno: Your going to have some fun doing the christmas shopping then, Parking problems? What problem?
Markheliops
I bet you are getting very excited Neil. About bl--dy time as well. I will ignore the dig at my unfortunate situation in the arena - but thanks for tugging me out anyway. Only wanted the public to see the power of your Stolly anyway. Markheliops
ArtistsRifles
Excited - definitely!! Likely to be the New Year bfore I can go and play with it. :-) Wasn't a dig at you mate mate - I still recall the look on a certain Mr Wares face as we merrily towed you out past him after his comments on Stolly bogging in the mud. And right now I need all the cheering up I can get !!! Richards posted another film clip today: http://www.russiantruck.co.uk/images/films/OT90-DISPLAY-YARD.wmv - an OT on test at his premises.
