    I kept getting a message that the site was updating and to try later. Now all my icons have gone.

    The Pillbox Study Group have lots of information and the website is good. Where we live we often walk the dog by the river and there are plenty of pillboxes in various states of decay. My youngest and I have great fascination in looking inside, although most are either blocked or waterlogged! I just think its such a shame that we havent any round here preserved to show people what they would have been like.

    I think its a great resource and totally agree the time put into this is huge. Its of benefit to so many on the forum.

    Sounds very much like a targeted and planned theft.

    Thats some very tiday work. I often see people simply throw parts away thinking they are too far gone before properly checking them out. When I saw the pics before reading your text I did wonder if the rim would have been made of wood.

    I recall all of those 5 minute jobs that go on for ages and really get under your skin! Looking very good.

    That is a sad ending, I wonder what happened to her? And being buried unknown I wonder what also became of her son?

    Not far from us up near Bath, we are down on the levels. Probably seen the Matadors at shows I imagine.

    Do you have other types aswell? Our 1950 Commer has a clayton dewandre type VH which we have been having troubles with.
