  1. You have a very talented daughter, well done her! I recall the time it took us to route the choke cable and hand throttle on our lorry, tedious and time consuming. Lots of adjusting here and there and bruised knuckles!
  2. We have been out this afternoon and I have just taken a look on mybphone when back at the house. The page looks back to normal to me, certainly not like it was this morning. Much better.
  3. The yard where we rent our unit has security gates and CCTV, the Insurer told me that doesnt change a thing with regards my premium.
  4. Richard, thats the same with me, I am looking at the site on my phone and have the same issue as Chris. I think you are are right it would lead us to presume an issue with viewing by phone.
  5. Thats the same view that I am getting Chris. I find if I click on the box icon 3rd from the top right it then brings up the link to Activity on the top right.
  6. Rare is an understatement. That is a lovely piece of kit and the restoration work is top notch.
  7. I have insured my vintage vehicles with various companies. The one I am with now was very specific that they had to know the address where the vehicles are stored as its not at my home address. The previous company however, did not need the address as they said it was within a 3 mile radius of my home address. Different companies, different policies.
  8. I couldnt access the page for about an hour this morning, it just kept coming up with a message that the website was unnavailable.
  9. No, I have had a good look and cant find it anymore. Also, on my screen the HMVF logo is partially overwritten by an advert?
  10. Lovely bit of kit, if only we had the money.
  11. I have been taking photos of the pillboxes on our line, sort of forming a record of there condition at the present time. Many though are already crumbling away or completely taken over by undergrowth.
  12. Yes, we saw that but the lots we like would be expensive to send. We did wonder about a grouo of us getting together and taking a van up there if we won multiple lots.
  13. Our vehicles have never been kept at home, they are a few miles away in our lock-up. I imagine there are quite a few of us in that situation.
  14. A lot of very interesting lots, we have been tempted but live the other end of the country.
  15. Not your usual type of scam. Imagine the logistics behind moving all the vehicles about?
  16. Looks fantastic. Great to see your Daughter enjoying actually making something. Not a lot of kids want to do that these days. Any plans to exhibit? That quality needs to be shown off.
  17. Very similar thoughts with us here, Somerset born and bred and very keen on its heritage especially wartime. I am currently very interested in Pillboxes and the stop line which runs through our village.
  18. Agree with the above, get in touch with the tank museum as they offer plenty of advice.
  19. The Glorious Glosters, lots of history. You will find plenty of wise heads on the forum.
  20. Has the layout of the site also changed for everyone? Things are missing for me and I now have to go a different route to find the latest activity?
  21. Thats a huge undertaking, if anyone can advise it will be on here. Best of luck.
  22. I kept getting a message that the site was updating and to try later. Now all my icons have gone.
  23. The Pillbox Study Group have lots of information and the website is good. Where we live we often walk the dog by the river and there are plenty of pillboxes in various states of decay. My youngest and I have great fascination in looking inside, although most are either blocked or waterlogged! I just think its such a shame that we havent any round here preserved to show people what they would have been like.
