Redcap Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 It is my sad duty to relay that Felix, the leading and guiding light of the Chatham Militaria Fair, passed onto pastures greener on New Years Day. We knew this day was coming, but thought it wouldn't be so soon. Information was from Viktor over on the WWIIreenacting forums. Comrades und Genossen,While finding out if the WPFG were to be Gate Guard, ( Which we are) I discovered Felix died on New Years Day " Hello Dave, Yes that would be good, unfortunately Felix died on new years day and I was trying to find out who was going to do it so thanks for the e-mail as I understand from Frank that you guys have a rota system to whose turn it is to guard is this still in place or does it need to be sorted this Sunday? Kind regards, James " I have sent our collective Best Wishes.. A sad loss of a Good Man, a Stand up Guy. A Big Man. Respect, Drink to his memory, Honour him as he honoured us, with his generosity. ........RIP........ Felix was the guy who, a few years ago, got the Chatham Militaria Fair up and running, who made sure that it was an event for both traders and re-enactors alike. There are many on this forum who also met and knew him, too, including the Bunker Bash Guys. He'll be very sorely missed in the community. Quote
