Glad to help. I don't think that Photobucket removed the images, my understanding was that the photo owners deleted them from their PB accounts; hence, why they disappeared. The one that are still there, albeit with the watermarks, can be recovered but I'm not sure whether the owners can be bothered to do the work to recover them, even with this newfound information. Non-originators cannot edit those post; therefore, it would be up to the originators to do the recoveries. I must admit that it would be really good to see some of those images restored, there are some wonderful images on this site, plus those photo owners would have put some effort into taking and processing them for our benefit. cheers, Mike

No ingenuity I'm afraid, I found out by accident as I pressed the wrong buttons. Either that or it's all smoke and mirrors! Hopefully, some members will be able to revisit their posts and insert restored copies. cheers, Mike

Hi Clive, I think you may have selected the image in my post, which I have saved to Imgur. I would recommend you find another image on HMVF, or any other site, and try again with one of those. Let me know how you get on. cheers, Mike

Hello all, I have noticed that a lot of images on here have the Photobucket watermark over them. I'm not sure if this will work for everyone but I have found a way to open those images, without the watermark, by right-clicking. The way I do it is: select the photo and right-click the mouse. This will open up a drop down menu. select "open link in new tab". This should then open a new tab showing the photo without the watermark. Save the recovered image using File/Save as etc. or take a screenshot and save that. Herewith an example: I hope this works for you. Actually, I would be interested if this does work for other members. Please post here if it works for you, or not. Seasons greetings, Mike

I am a modeller that likes to build small scale vehicles and, as such, I am looking for dimensions and images of the external components of theFB4 engine. I work to 1:35 scale, which would be much too small to produce any internal parts; although I would like to attempt that one day. If you could help with any plans or diagrams with dimensions of the engine block, gearbox, and any covers and sumps etc., then that would be great. Hi Ruxy, that is very interesting and welcome information, thank you for sharing it. The photo of the Lightweight assigned to me, can't call is mine, 15FM42 was taken in Norway in 1976. You mentioned the reflectors and, as you saw, this vehicle had the small rectangular versions. cheers, Mike

The interesting element about the offset mast clamp was, as I understood it, so that the mast sat beside the rear lights. My Lightweight was a modified Mk.1 version that had the front grill and lights upgraded, but not the rear. The later Mk.2 version had an extra light added, where the reflector is positioned on my vehicle; so, was the base plate changed again perhaps to fit between the lights, or even moved further away from the rear body? cheers, Mike

Yes, I know it is 9ft by 9ft; however, I want to build a scale model of one to attach to the back of a Land Rover kit. I am looking for dimensions of: the poles the angle pieces height of shoulder section height at apex opening around the vehicle opening entrance etc. I would be grateful to hear from anyone who can supply all or some of those dimensions; perhaps even a plan. cheers, Mike

Thank you for the explanation of Land Rover tyres, it is a subject that I know very little about and need to learn more. I now understand that my vehicle 15 FM 42 had Goodyear 6.50x16 HiMilers fitted at the time. cheers, Mike
