If the roof is canvas covered then there is an example of how to do it in the thread on the restoration of the RAF Leyland workshop truck on the WW1 forum here on HMVF.

Seems to use a specifically purposed product called “Williamson’s Canvas Roof Bonding Compound”

Thanks for the information Simon , now I have some information how to fit canvas on to a coach build roof  .

Now I need to check if these products are available here in Belgium . Think  it's  more a job when there is some hot weather ?

Regards

Guy

Top front and rear panels back from the custom car builder,  he made all the top louvres in the panel's.

Started with the top front panel and this one is now fitted on the front of the box

Took the rear panel back of the radio box ( only 6 bolts)  and had a go one the plate work for the rear.

The temptation was to big , started to fit some aerial fittings on the front.

 Fruitful day in the workplace.

Rear panel in paint and fitted on to the rear of the box.

Repairs on the fittings of the rear stair , the metal where the stair is fitted was well rotten and replaced these with some new metal.

Really nice work again, Guy....and the custom car builder also did a great job on those louvres.

Are you working outside in the cold? or waiting for the temperature to rise a bit?

It's dam cold outside; next week I will look to start with the construction of the radio table . But the welding and construction nice in the workshop !

Working on the roof ventilation , the ventilator above the axillary generator is in place and I can start to make the roof top cover for this ventilator.  Also been looking to fit the 3 ventilation boxes on the roof.

A other piece of the puzzle,  collected  a bad set 19 on a carrier No 23. It's the right carrier for my wireless truck. I have a almost new set 19 out of Italy but this one is fited on a carrier No25.

Had a carrier No 23 on loan to reproduce but now I have the original one.

These are the spring loaded Shock Mounts needed to attach the No23 Carrier to the table. Clip onto the metal corners of the No 23 Carrier.

New rubber feet were/are available from Jordan Baker in Canada. The rubber and metal construction of the feet seems to come apart on original examples.
