Clip onto the metal corners of the No 23 Carrier. New rubber feet were/are available from Jordan Baker in Canada. The rubber and metal construction of the feet seems to come apart on original examples. Thanks Simon for the information. I have 4 of these rubber feet from Jordan and on the picture are the bits that are bolted on the radio operators table.
simon king
That’s good news, I think they are relatively hard to find nowadays.
guy66
Many set 19 stuff is getting difficult these day's, luckily I been collecting for more than 10 years.🫡 But I am still looking to have the high power unit complete, but it is difficult and expensive. simon king
Did you find the correct aerial mount and specific variometer for the WS19HP?

For the moment the installation in the radiobox will be a set 19. You never know if I find these parts to go with my HP receiver.

guy66
If I don't find the right lock for the rear radio box then I make a copy of the original one.
guy66
Fruitful weekend on the Morris . Repaired and painted the windscreen frames and made a template to have the safety glass cut And started to fit the interior boards on the front wall and looking how I can fix the charging switch bord and the same for the axillary generator control board . For the moment not really sure if I fit this one next to the operators table are on the left side wall next to the table. guy66
Some paintwork on the Morris . The division signs are from the 1st Belgian Brigade and the senses number from a Morris wireless that was in use with this brigade.

guy66
Fitted the glass in to the passenger side windscreen, first had to make a wooden template to have the glass cut the right measurement for the frame. Some time back I found a new old stock rubber seal and used this for the underside of the windscreen to cabine seal. Next job will be the drivers side.
guy66
Hello , anyone have a idea how the jack handles are fitted in to the cabine. There are specific clips for the handles but where are these situated? Thanks.
guy66
Fitted the glass in to both windscreens and while finishing this section a made the side deflector for side sections of the windscreens.
guy66
We made the hinged front windscreen in for the front of the radio box. Tomorrow we start with the wheel boxes for the wireless box, plenty of fun in my holiday's.
Alex van de Wetering
Top notch work, Guy. The window in the wireless body looks really nice. Is it Brass? I am sure I am not the only one enjoying the updates on your Morris.
guy66
Indeed Alex, it's a brass channel that I use. This profile is the closest I can get to the original steel profile. The profile for the side window's is really a complicated form ( see picture) and one part of the window slides open .I will need to solder some different profiles together to get close to the original window frame. Started on the rear wheel boxes, these are a combination of metal plate and a wooden top.
guy66
One of the wheel boxes metal is ready, tomorrow we move over to the other side.
guy66
Here we go , lefthand wheelbox also ready. Next step preparing for primer and paint.
guy66
The wheel boxes are almost ready , compare the pictures from the original Morris Box I measured up a few year ago and the reproduced ones. Left side original , and this one sits higher than the right wheel box ? Wats the use of this higher wheel box and the two wooden bits in front of it ? And the right side is not as high and there is a seat mounted on this wheel box .
guy66
In the beginning of this project I made copy's of the wheel boxes that cam with the Morris from France , but now it is clear that these is a difference between the ones on a signals box and a early warning model ( radar setup).
guy66
One side ready , wheelbox and board on to the right Interior wall.
guy66
Left side looks the business with the board in place, it's start to get cosy inside of the box. Problem will be with the cupboard on left side and the auxiliary generator box on the right side there will be match space taken by this bits. And then all the radio stuff have to find a place 🙄. Looking to fit a metal skin over the wood of the rear door.
