It's been all over the newspapers and assorted news websites, so I'm not really sure what else the AA was expecting? I understand it will also be on the renewal reminders. Once the paper tax discs vanish there won't be a temptation to look at the date anyway.

I think I can just bend this thread sufficiently to mention the Haynes collection at Sparkford as their military section has now vanished, very annoying when I popped in to see it! Does anyone know where the vehicles went?

Some tracked vehicle specific questions are speed limits and what to do if you have a queue behind you. The purpose of an amber beacon might be another one.

It's known as a Desynn transmitter and is used in a number of FVs, sometimes as fuel gauge senders. CVRTs have them in the turret Rotary Base Junction.

It will be interesting to see, once the dust settles and if he's found innocent, whether anyone will print a retraction. That includes the police, if they have been correctly reported.

Brilliant - thanks Richard. It's a little odd that all the Mk.2s seem to have this but it didn't make its way into the handbook. It was also unclear whether the single mark on the dipstick is Min, Max or what, so thanks for explaining.
