  1. This was the first time that I had been able to get down to the Damyns Hall show due to it always clashing with something else I had on. I had a good day out, despite a torrential downpour for around 30-40 minutes around the mid-day period. Ground conditions were certainly varying with the first field you entered being a quagmire, but things got better as you ventured into the show ground and it was good to see vehicles which I don't usually get the chance to see with living in the Midlands. Anyway onto the pictures and we will start with the tracked vehicles:
  2. I hope to make the long trek down to this one on either Saturday or Sunday as have never been able to get to it due to it clashing with others. With Odiham Fire Show being off, which we were originally booked in for, I'm hoping to visit a show that always has good reports.
  3. You have certainly been moving forward and it will no doubt continue to come together with every little bit you do. Great to see that the Matador pictured is still around as I remember seeing it pictured on here when the accident happened and I thought it would be just scrapped.
  4. I'm missing out this year due to a holiday elsewhere but by the sounds of it, it may be a good one to miss - ground conditions wise. Thanks for all the continued updates and pictures though as for those of us who can't make the show it certainly makes for interesting reading.
  5. Recently got sent the following link to this one which was still being used up to at least 2002:
  6. I noticed this too and wondered exactly the same as you Robert. It was on during the point when one of the agents was transported into Portugal, so I don't know if this has anything to do with it? Would be interesting to see if anyone has the answer to this question.
  7. Great link, thanks for sharing. Even managed to find a picture of a Gipsy in the military section
  8. Nice pictures, wonder how many of the vehicles and men survived the War. Looks like a Leyland Retriever in the background of the second picture.
  9. Across on the Militant thread, where I posted it as well, someone else has said the same so it looks like it has found a new home Simon. Scott
  10. Looks like it could have found a new home then!
  11. Spotted this one going north on the M1 on Sunday afternoon. Anyone know anything about it?
  12. Going north on the M1 by Junction 29 on Sunday afternoon. Anyone's?
  13. Yep that one fits very nicely! What a great picture it is, one of my favourite vehicles.
  14. There aren't too many with the orginal body (which I think this has) on. Hopefully it has survived.
  15. :thanx:Bernard. Will give it a try when I've get five minutes.
  16. Same here. Plus a move to another browser means the hassle of having to save all the favourites again.
  17. Andy, have you thought about emailing a Classic Vehicle magazine to see if they can help by putting an appeal out for you? Scott
  18. Site has frozen on me a couple of times in the past week or so and then freezes any other tabs I have open at the same time.
  19. We will be on site from tomorrow afternoon with the Gipsy, can't let all these Champs have all the fun!
  20. Saw this one in Normandy in 2009, I hope you will be making a similar trip in years to come Lauren Scott
  21. Very nice, always good to have a bit of information about the vehicle you are displaying so that visitors can read about what it is.
  22. Not a problem, hope that you had some luck in your quest in finding an answer? Scott
  23. This one still survives then as my dad saw this advert at the Earls Barton show the other weekend.
  24. Quite a few Matador pics here from Malta: http://maltabuses.piwigo.com/index?/category/83-aec
  25. I sure do mate! Great day on the Sunday, after 150 miles of rain we were fearing the worst but the last 20 miles it suddenly changed and it turned into a very nice day in the end and it was great to meet up with everyone again. Driving home wasn't fun though with visibility down to hardly anything on the A34 and M40.
