A friend of mine does some film/tv work and recently posted this picture up from the set of Wacky Races. Don't know if there is going to be a film or if it's just a tv commercial, but he's been working on it in Valencia. Anyway in the background of one his shots was this:
For those that missed it the other evening this programme is on again at 6.30pm tonight on BBC Two. I found it really interesting and it's a shame that the service that they provide will no longer be around in its current form come 2016.
iPlayer link to show here as well:

Cheers, sorry should have said in the original post does anyone know if it's still around? Long shot as I say but wondering if you can tell the number on the side as it might give us a clue.
Longshot I know, but does anyone know the identity of this Carrier in question? Have been looking through some old snaps and this one cropped up (sorry for poor quality) which my dad said he took in the late 70's/early 80's at he thinks Hagley Hall. Spit the Dog was being given a ride around the arena btw in the picture below:
I enjoyed the show as well.
Pictures of said Jeep in question can be found on the Car SOS website here: http://natgeotv.com/uk/car-sos/galleries/car-makeover-feast#86693
For those that have the National Geographic Channel the show is repeated on Saturday 23rd February at 1pm and Tuesday 12th March at 6pm.
There coming along like buses at the moment! Another one for sale on eBay at the moment: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SCAMMELL-PIONEER-/190796442188?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2c6c5aaa4c
Very nice, thanks for sharing.
Just wondering after seeing that you have two of these trailers, can you legally tow them one behind the other both in Norway and over here in the UK or is that type of Airborne Trailer Road Train discouraged?

Welcome Paul, I've noticed a picture on your Facebook page however if you have anymore they would be more than welcome both on here and in the Pioneer Gallery. Looking forward to seeing more of this machine.

We should be there with the Gipsy as the mileage is about the same as what it was to Belvoir. Looks like a pretty good location as well, hopefully the weather will be good as it's been pretty bad nearly every year that we have been. Apart from a couple of years ago when it was a scorcher
Thanks for the information Big Ray. I notice that the proposed dates you have given are the weekend after the norm as the clash had usually been over the third weekend in May before, however these dates perhaps wouldn't suit the North Staffs crew as it's the same weekend as Smallwood which I know that you guys attend. If you can find out more that would be great though.
Anyone know if Halfpenny at War us on this year? I hadn't been able to attend the first two shows due to a clash with Belvoir Castle. However due to that show moving I was hoping I would be able to go along, but I can't see where it's advertised or even if it's on!
Any help much appreciated.
