Hi

Im Andy,

currently own an M38a1 (nekaf) jeep, which is road registered & MOT'd

needs some tidying & hopefully will be show ready in next few weeks.

Currently in US markings of 196th Light infantry Brigade.

Im in surrey & member of MVT & IMPS

This is my 4th military vehicle, previously owned s3 LWB & lightweight Landrovers

Found the HMVF purely by chance & am pleased that a site like this has been created.

Here to learn & also share (the limited) knowledge that i have. :-\

We used one of these to mark out trialls and speed event courses,i was impressed with there off rd performance lots of low power,i have rebuilt many engines for these

and they all had the same problem, crankshaft wear,i dont know if it was a weak point but i did rebuild alot when they first arrived here. The nice thing was you didnt need to remove the head it all could be done from the sump.It was one of them or the champ when i decided to get a smaller vehicle.I felt they were overpriced at the time and less complex so less interesting for me.Enjoy,CW.
