It is ex Army and was purchased by the Great Train Robbers and used for carrying the mailsacks from the train to their hideout at Leatherslade Farm. It is currently at the Cai Dai Museum at Denbigh but has suffered from an arson attack on the building in which it was kept. Quote

LarryH57 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I had a good look through this old thread but despite seeing a few K2 Ambulances in preservation I do not think I have seen a Katty in RAF service in WW2! Has anyone got any photos to help me build mine - well the only one I can afford from Airfix!! Quote
