Tony B
Halford's can do them, you need the usual paperwork.
.303fan
On eBay you do not need paperwork. They are "show" plates. I use them on the road without issues (I hate plastic number plates)

Tony B
Till you get stopped by some anorack Copper. Though black and white plates don't need supplier name and the rest of the rest of the verbage.
rampant rivet
As long as your vehicle is pre 1975 you can use silver on black number plates and do not need to provide any paper work, as I mentioned previously I have just bought a pair on epay for my 1939 MW no probs, cost around £18 and have never had any problems with anorak plods with any of my vehicles all of which have silver on black plates. Petelgv1
I enquired at a stall at a steam rally who was making plates. he said I needed to send off for them and as they are pressed plates they would be £50 a pair.. Crikey.. That's why I'm asking here.. thanks.
