Lord Burley
Always loved the Westland Scout. It was even more impressive in the film "who dares wins" with fake SAS men hanging from them.
Adrian Barrell
The Dingo is a Lynx, a Canadian Ford built Dingo lookalike but with conventional axles and the Cadillac is a Canadian GM C15TA.
morris c8 fat
The Lynx is rare enough abd the Sout is a Wasp I would love to go back to Malaca spent 2 years there in 69-71 fun
Lord Burley
Sorry. My mistake. Both derived from the saunders- roe helicopter.Should have known better really. As the navy version had wheels and the army version had skids. Slightly different profiles as well. But very similar in appearance...... fesm_ndt
Always loved the Westland Scout. fesm_ndt
The Dingo is a Lynx, a Canadian Ford built Dingo lookalike but with conventional axles and the Cadillac is a Canadian GM C15TA. A Lynx!!! another new one to add to the list of vehicles I did not know existed. The remains of the torpedo had me wondering, with the mini radial engine, i.e. was it allied or Japanese as it looks like it was found on the sea bed. Also wondered if when they detonated the rear stub like this got blown away intact or this was a dud with the rest corroding away. I travel a lot so I will try to keep finding MV's but my next destination is the UK so you guys, 'I think' got that covered already , mind you Granta Park held some secrets. fesm_ndt
Well went to Shropshire to buy some Pinz bits and found out the entire area is littered with exMod bases. The area where one of the Pinz location is an ex airforce base, so I hope to get some more snaps this morning. fesm_ndt
A Stalwart went past, but unfortunately I never got a photo, met the owner who was a nice bloke though. A mixture of Petrol and Deisel Pinzgauer from both ends of the line The petrol 710M are smaller than the deisel 716 4x4 and are not a bad looking vehicle A 716M P90 getting tidied up. Enigma
Some cool offroading! Going through that mudbath would be a challenge for a lot of vehicles.
fesm_ndt
The tilting of the trucks is awesome as we got over45 on several occasions Fairly scary given the height of the pinz. At one point I was standing on the spare tyre at the two o'clock postion to stay upright. I have to finish the video now I am back in kl.
