  1. Put “dvla historic vehicle tax” into Google, it’s the first result!
  2. You need to wait until April, as I said before. As stated on the website, currently it is only tax exempt if built before 1st Jan 1980. https://www.gov.uk/historic-vehicles/vehicles-exempt-from-vehicle-tax It is really that easy, if your vehicle is exempt, which yours is not... yet.
  3. I think you’ll find there are very few original parts left, and buying new parts will be your only option I’m afraid!
  4. Do you not have the Display Name as shown below in your settings?
  5. As Richard says, you can change the display name in account settings.
  6. Hi Lance, I have some NOS bench seats. Will get you a photo if/when lockdown is over. Chris
  7. Would a genuine wartime hood number not say USAxxxxx?
  8. Try here for manuals: https://www.greenmachinesurplus.com/fodenfh70user-handbook-2609-p.asp
  9. Take off lower rear armour plate and get a socket on the crank shaft nut. I bought a starting handle from Marcus Glenn, he may have more.
  10. Chris, I don’t think you need to repeat the post, a lot of people use the unread content option to see what’s new. Chris
  11. Hi Lance, You could try this one: https://www.greenmachinesurplus.com/clansman-radio-installations-in-spartan-cvrt-1262-p.asp There should be a CB2 by the drivers right shoulder, a CBF to the left of the commanders seat, an IB3 on the bulkhead at the back of the engine and a CB2 to the right of it. Chris
  12. If you have and send them a receipt showing it was bought in the UK (from Withams for example) then I don’t think they ask for the NOVA.
  13. You don’t need to ask around. Go to www.Google.co.uk and type in Land Rover 110 wiring diagram and click search.... https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/110-wiring-diagram-military-version.344963/
  14. The parts manual won’t tell you which wires to test, you need the wiring diagram for that.

  16. To do the CVRT track you’d need to remove all the rubber from the link and remould it. You’d probably also need to replace the bushes. If the link is worn and the metal is thin then it’s scrap anyway.

  18. Hi Lance, Both Spartans we’ve had have failed in exactly the same way. I intend to do the same thing as you and replace the welded bracket with one that bolts on for our diesel one when I get round to it. Rather than graphite grease you could try Corrosion Block Grease: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263293111737 Chris
  19. Magic. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belleville_washer
  20. I found it much easier wiring my tub with it on its side. I wired everything and then put it on the chassis.
