Now I know:-D

Virgin Atlantic plane to fly with Red Arrows 22 April 2009

As part of its 25th birthday celebrations this year, Virgin Atlantic will have one of its Boeing 747 aircraft take part in a fly-past with the Red Arrows aerobatic display team.

The jumbo jet will fly with the Royal Air Force (RAF) team at the Biggin Hill International Air Fair on 28 June, six days after the airline's 25th birthday.

Biggin Hill is London's only air fair and the largest event of its kind in south-east England.

Taking place over two days, the fair includes a display of famous aircraft, children's amusements and a classic car parade.

Commenting on the celebratory fly-past, Virgin Atlantic president Sir Richard Branson said: 'This is a very welcome honour for our 25th birthday and I am very proud that one of our 747-400s will be performing the fly-past with the RAF aerobatic display team.'

He added: 'The Red Arrows are renowned throughout the world as ambassadors for both the Royal Air Force and the United Kingdom and it will be a special moment in history when we see that salute.'

Yes they were at Buggin, came in very low over Green Street Green, so no doubt teh neighbours will complain! Another quite poiniant thing, probably not planned, a ME109 followed by a Spitfire flew right over the memorial to

seargent John Ellis on Warren Road.
