It has LR mechanicals, and was used as a mule by LR or Jeep for development work??.

Sorry I somehow missed your post, too many tabs open! Yes pretty well got it in one.

It was for a proposed joint marketing agreement between LR and Willis, it never got beyond prototype.

I have a feeling that one belonged to Richard Beddall's brother (?), likely the QL's are Richard's.

It was certainly owned by one of the Beddalls, but do you know what it is?

You should send that to Land Rover for their new slogan :)

I think CW's version suits them better :-D

Later the Rover went to a chap I used to see, from around Church Crookham.

Yes I believe his brother was a landscape gardener then Richard Anstey restored it before he got his MRA1.

Put that driver on a charge the pioneering tools are all wrong ,the shovel handles to long for a start, eek just seen S3s,anybody would think there was a war on,wonder where they swept up all those old crocks from.

Whats the point of me asking these questions if no bugger answers.:-D see 430

Its interesting to see they have no protective clothing or anything to save there uniform,i would suspect they are only doing the stripes. After reading the post about the dangers of the paint i think they stood more chance of being killed by the british army than the iraqis.interestingly they seem to of tiger stripped the concrete as well.Good pics mate.:-D
