Antony
The owner of The Howitzer wishes to sell it, and as it is such a unique and rare piece of equipment, I wonder if anyone can suggest where it can be advertised, I will suggest to him to try Milweb, but was wondering if there might be any outlets in The USA. I would have thought there might be some collectors over there who may be interested. Tony.
MatchFuzee
You could suggest to the seller that he contacts one or more of the larger auctioneers or if he has a price in mind he could try a museum e.g. the Royal Armouries:- https://www.royalarmouries.org/visit-us/fort-nelson/

Niels v
Wouldn't the new Australian armour and artillery museum in Cairns also be candidate for a buyer. Edited March 14, 2016 by Niels v
OZITIM
The Australian Museum is in Cairns.

REME 245
Is there a reason why no price has been quoted here? Is it all original as it looks in almost too good condition.

Mr. Rackham has not indicated a price he is looking for so far, it was missing the 'trail', wheels and barrel, we made the 'trail', and wheels, which were based on the hubs which were a WW2 adaption, and the barrel is from a WW2 155mm howitzer. REME 245
Its degree of originality would preclude interest from most of the big Artillery collectors although I am sure most already know. Probably best for dressing a scene either in a Museum of Living History or possibly on a plinth somewhere.
