Toolman
"an American track and field athlete runs on the treadmill, causing the tank's noisy chain wheels to spin pointlessly" He must be a strong b*gger! Must be in neutral!

northrecce
If this has been posted previously then admin feel free to delete. I'm not sure if this is real or just a photoshop job but this is no way for a centurion to be treated . Someone needs a kick in the pants for this. http://culture.wnyc.org/blogs/gallerina/2011/jun/03/venice-biennale-2011/

mcspool
Actually quite like it! Let's be honest, Centurions aren't exactly rare tanks... A couple of members on this board turned a Centurion ARV into an unrecognisable film prop, which could only be seen in the opening sequel for a few minutes. antar
Believe it or not all the work for that project was done in Heywood, Greater Manchester 2 years ago. The Centurion is the ex Phil Benham one. It was completly gutted and then carefully cut into 5 or 6 slices so that it could be containerised. the motive unit is a large electric motor with some big reduction units connected to one final drive. We were not allowed to photograph it during its creation. The turret had about 10" milled of the top and a large steel plate welded on so the whole thing would be stable when assembled upside down.
