robin craig
Today I picked up a Jerry Can with the marking WD with broad arrow in between dated stamped 1945. On one of the big sides in the centre flat area it has the letters VM. Can anyone elaborate on what it is, its rarity and possible value please? Great War truck
Value in the UK about £5, although probably worth more in Canada. I have seen people trying to sell them on E Pay for £40 though.
robin craig
I'm surprised that there are that many of them still around all these years later that they would not command more money. Yes it has a bit more value here. R

Yes it has a bit more value here. R Ones I have seen at steam rallies and shows with wartime dates have been nearer £15-20 asking price, I think £5 is an under-estimate, but £20 is top dollar.
