  1. Some nice looking vehicles there wildside. Is that the same Quad in the last two pictures?, if so looks like you made a cracking job of it!!! :-D
  2. Is that another cryptic clue as to where this Matador is heading :-D:cool2::rofl:
  3. No probs mate. I would say that it is Dorset judging by the ground the vehicles are standing on and also the land behind them rises up in the picture as it does where the commercials stand.
  4. Wasn't that one that was for sale on Wednesday in Bingley?? I'm guessing you are the new owner Degsy?? :-D
  5. Looks to me like that the second picture was taken at The Great Dorset Steam Fair.
  6. An interesting read to go with the pictures as well. I heard about the problems the 25 pounders encountered back at Portsmouth whilst we were in France. At the time we wondered why it was taking them so long to get through. It's also sporting a nice new glossy front and back cover as well for this issue.

    What is it

I thought it was but was just making sure. It's loacted at Leitrim & Cavan Railway in Ireland and they apparently have some other stuff in there too. Anyone ever been?

    What is it

My dad sent me this picture he had sent to him (ignore the fire engine), just wondering what you think that is lurking in the background? Looks like a Pig to me and after I zoomed in a couple of times I could just make out UN on the door I think.
  9. I thought it may have been Barrow as it looked like their old style floodlights (bit sad I know but I've been there and there aren't many more in Cumbria :-D) Just going off topic slightly but do you know if those two old wreckers are still in a field at Milnthorpe? As from what I can remember we drove past them on the main road from the motorway.
  10. Very nice job and you certainly aren't boring us with the story. Is it located near a football ground big chris, just looking at the floodlights in the back of one of the pictures :-D
  11. Some nice pictures there CC, always nice to see some different vehicles from around the country. Cheers
  12. Are you going for the most post's in the least amount of time record CC :-D
  13. Oh right we did see a couple of vehicles in the square and there was also a singer on stage. But after about 30 minutes we decided that the parade must have already taken place. As we were walking back to the car though there were some vehicles who came into the town but we had already seen these at Bayeux in the 3pm parade.
  14. A very nice Matador, nice to see a different back section on it.
  15. Some good pictures there No Signals. Just wondering what time did this parade take place? As we arrived there just after 4 when it was supposed to start (according to CMV) but there were only a couple of vehicles around and it looked as if the parade had already gone. PS. Would have replied to this earlier but have been away on hols :-D
  16. We have one single blue light fitted to the Gipsy and have never had any problem from the authorities with it being out in the open.
  17. Was only two pages back Swill:-D But here you go again just for you :cool2:
  18. The two we saw while over in Normandy recently both taken in the Bayeux vehicle parade on Sunday.
  19. Have been lucky enough to see the BoBMF fly past again today and once again it proved its worth. We live about 20 miles away from RAF Cosford and with the air show taking place this weekend it means the turning circles often come close to us. Saw the BoBMF do a few laps as well as the Vulcan before the lanc flew home over us. Great stuff :-D
  20. Fantastic, it makes you wonder how many more there are out there.
  21. Sure would have been handy as at times the rain was horrendous as shown by the pictures below of the Bayeux vehicle parade on the Sunday. (I know they aren’t the best pictures but just want to give you an idea of what it was like at times.)
  22. Some nice pictures there from both of you, thanks for sharing!!!
  23. Cheers LB. Pretty much like at Dorset then, where last year they did reduce the price on the last day.
  24. It sure is croc, plus you get the best photo opportunities as stuff has moved out of the way. The thing I'm worries about is paying to come in at W&P and it not being a full day, we don't have to worry about this at GDSF being an exhibitor we always stop until the Monday anyway.
  25. I have been to the show a few times before but I'm just wondering what is the show like on the Sunday. This may sound daft but I'm thinking that I might only be able to make the Sunday if I come down and going from experince of what The Great Dorset Steam Fair is like on a Sunday I don't want it to be a waste of time. Does everything start to leave early or does stuff stay until later on or even the Monday?
