    Is this the one you are on about Mark? This was taken at the Evesham show I went to last month, didn't take one this time as it was a bit too close to something else.

    Went to Hanbury Steam and Vintage Car Rally today which is just south of Bromsgrove. Good rally and run by the same people who put on the Evesham rally as well as various others. Met younggun with his Explorer in a military section which contained about 20 vehicles. Not a bad show at all really and was made even better by the weather with plenty of sunshine all day. Below are some of the vehicles that were on offer in the military section.

    What we do (I shouldnt really say this as others will do the same lol) is wait until around 6 and nip on the end as you usually end up going straight around then!!! Saves wasting fuel :yay: These were taken by my dad as he gets to the show on the Sunday (well I usually do as well but couldn't this year). It's good to get their early and watch it set-up.

    Now for the commercial section which contains lots of interesting vehicles with military backgrounds, including quite a few explorers.

    I bet they had fun cleaning all the Foam off and out of that machine :shake::-D

    I don't know about the military section but I know the commercial section that we display in can be hard to get into simply due to the amount of vehicles in that section. As regards waiting lists I'm not sure. Antarmike might be able to tell us more as he is the section leader of the Diesel Heavy Haualge section.

    Cheers, that one also made it to Normandy this year as well despite its age!!!

    It could well have been being only about 30 miles away. It was around 5pm if I remember rightly. The strange thing was that it didn't come over the main site as it seemed to be displaying over Blandford Camp and the heavy haulage camping area, it wasn't arranged by Antarmike was it :cool2::-D:-D

    Just realised that the thread title needs to be changed to 6th September :embarrassed::banghead: Anyway on with the next batch of pictures. We stay in the military section with some of the other vehicles that were on display.

    The one mentioned earlier as seen at Dorset.

    Some pictures of the Cletrac at Dorset. They did get it running for a while but then it needed a bump start with the help of the Militant before dying again everytime it seemed as if it had got going again.

    It does look like a great show and I had planned to go the last two years. But due to a combination of the weather last year and it clashing with Dorset this year I haven't been able to go. I'm sure it was the weekend after Dorset before, have they moved it forward by a weekend?

    There was a Spitfire flying around at Dorset on Saturday I think, but it wasn't to do with the show as it seemed to be flying more over Blandford Camp??
