  1. I did indeed, in fact I've just posted a picture up of one of todays smaller loads here: http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?7057-Scammell-Explorer-Gallery&p=374305#post374305 :-D
  2. Younggun at the head of the land train at Banbury today:
  3. ....clubhouse car park, maybe in the commercial area, for an Austin Gipsy now I've reached the 1,000 post mark on the forum :-D Scott
  4. No Ian not there as that is where I had just come from! I was on my way home at the time from the show heading north and they were heading south just before the Gaydon turn off. Scott
  5. I'm taking my granddad for part of his 80th birthday present. Haven't been to the show or Duxford since 1997 (I think) so hopefully the weather will be like it has been this weekend as I'm really looking forward to it. Scott
  6. Mock Spitfire (I think) on the back of a trailer on the M40 around Junction 12 heading south this afternoon. Cockpit, fuselage, wings were all on the trailer. Also eight Series 1 and 2 Land Rovers heading in the same direction. There must have been a show somewhere around the Midlands where they had all been at.
  7. All the best people celebrate their birthday on the 29th June :-D Happy Birthday Joris.
  8. Thanks for highlighting this page, hadn't seen it before. It can be found here for those that want to have a look: https://www.facebook.com/pages/UK-Barn-Finds/153600744791138 Although those pics of the carriers were put in January I'd say they were taken before this as the sun is out in the pictures. Interesting finds. Scott
  9. In the programme it was listed as belonging to a Mr D Ludlam of Temple Normanton, Derbyshire. Don't know if this helps Nick. Scott
  10. It did make my dad and I smile when we saw all those bottles on the table when walking around on Friday evening. Meanwhile I also make an unexpected appearance in Bernard's video
  11. As Clive says it just takes a little zooming in but I can read it. Thanks for posting it up David. Scott
  12. Thanks Steve, receiving them loud and clear this time. Great to once again see vehicles which were attending events some 19 years ago now. Scott
  13. I'm sure we would all love to see some pictures if you are able to upload them mate. Scott
  14. Ok so this one is a little bit of a cheat but we followed this Champ (JUV 495F) all the way from Evesham to Junction 11 (turning for home) yesterday afternoon. At one point there was a three way convoy of a Lightweight Land Rover, Austin Champ and Austin Gipsy. This was the view for much of the journey (BTW I wasn't driving and taking photos):
  15. Thanks for posting the video up Gary, some very nice vehicles in that line-up. Scott
  16. It looked very nice at the show as well. Thanks also to you for providing me with a few extra details about your bike Nick. Scott
  17. Thanks for posting the pictures, I particularly like the very nice Scammell Pioneer with Howitzer. Scott
  18. I and many others on the forum will look forward to seeing these no doubt about that! Scott
  19. I'd agree Guy. Well done on a fabulous restoration, looking forward to seeing this one in the flesh. Scott
  20. Lets hope so, I'm still drying out from that downpour which greeted the parade!
  21. This account of someone who was on-board when it started to sink was in our local paper the other day: http://www.expressandstar.com/news/2013/06/18/sedgley-family-we-thought-we-would-die-as-the-yellow-duckmarine-sank-in-liverpool/ There is a video embedded within the page showing how quickly it went under as well. Scott
  22. Excellent, I should imagine it makes all the hard work worthwhile getting it out in the open. Are you going to be applying anymore Mickey Mouse camouflage to the rear body? Scott
  23. Pictures not showing up for me unfortunately as would love to see them. Talking of which I wonder what kind of Royal presence there will be next year with it not only being the 70th but also the last year of the Normandy Veterans Association. Scott
  24. Excellent, will keep an eye out for that. Scott
