  1. Would that be Southall ? If so then I had two of them.
  2. I do not think that TOG1 has any connection with the prototype Churchill as illustrated.

  4. Are you aware of the ATF de-milling requirements ? Unfortunately that breechring will have to be completely severed at right angles to the barrel and a hole cut in the chamber equal to the bore.

  14. They are tanks from A & B Squadrons 43Bn RTR 33 Brigade in October 1942. Type in IWM Search our Collections, then Churchill tank. There pages and pages of them but have a look at H214817 which is your photo and TR219, they are in colour as well.
  15. No chance, because last year they would not let me in, first time in a vintage car to it and I was accused of being late however no time was stipulated by the organiser. Went away not best pleased......
  16. I have this for sale, no use to me, selling for a HMVF donation.
  17. All set up for the camera, totally false and to use a Germanic phrase in keeping with the show 'ersatz'. Also the actions of the firer after the discharge of the weapon .....infantile.
  18. I remember this from the mid 1970's. I was on the Signal Platoon office wall of HQ Coy 5/8 Kings (V). I could not have quoted it but knew the sentiment, relevant today in all walks of life.
  19. Mr Prof I am intrigued with the West Midland Regiment, in fact never heard of it (that is not a disrespectful comment) but from what parentage did it come from ?
  20. Is this the one at Duxford. So is the IWM selling it or is it owned by a private person ? If the former, the question is why?
