  5. They were steered by an awful horizontal push pull lever and the speed about 25 mph. Bob
  6. Thanks for all your compliments, I will pass these on to the other half of this project; Mark Cornwell. Tim, The tracks were cast at the Buckely Foundry in Cheshire (now closed). Tony B, Whippet !!!! err no.......... Bedford Boys, It was built from drawings taken from the original one in the Tank Museum, it is 100% diamentionaly correct. Bob
  7. This is the first photo that i have submitted hope it is in veiw...... A replica of a Carrier, Machine Gun MkV1 (Carden Loyd that myself and a friend have constucted. We had set out to manufacture these as a kit. The Ford Model T engine and front axel would be supplied by the new owner all the rest by us., except of course the Vickers and tripod. There is a second hull, patterns, parts, castings and drawings for anyone that is interested in continuing with the project. Bob Grundy
  8. This T34 was owned by me for a time. It had had an engine fire before I got it, the V12 had melted it was a blob of alloy and battery lead with crank, conrods etc mixed in. The chap who owns the premises did re-engine it and it did appear at rallys for a while, looks a little care-worn now.......... Bob
  9. Hello everyone I am Bob Grundy and a alcoholic........ Sorry wrong forum ! I have been messing about with MV's since 1983 and I really should have joined the HMVF some while ago. Latest project was a replica German A7V tank of 1918, that took 4years, currently working on a Chieftain for Australia and my personel vehicle a Morris Commercial CDF of 1939. This one was spotted by me in a Kendle garage in 1967 and now I have it under extensive restoration. I will post things from time to time but I cannot be glued to the PC which I consider to be a time stealer............
