R Cubed
You got the dry bit then? :n00b:n Just back today, what a trip. Could not have wished for better weather, most of the time it was hot Sun and no wind, it was a bit rainy when we got there on 27th May but cleared up in time for us to put the tents up, then the only other bit of rain was on Sunday 7th when it absolutely tipped down and then some spitting rain on Mon as we were packing up. If so it certainly wouldnt have stopped the visitors as it was an excellent display.:yay: We went on Sunday and spent well over and hour and half there before the rain became too much and we moved on. Topdog
Hiya R Cubed, good to see you and Rosie on the ferry home. We got absolutely drenched on the way home - 1 cylinder down on the K2. A very long trip. Still, cold and wet last only as long as the next hot shower. Memories last a lot longer.
RGJ/H. Alan
is that a life raft in picture 6....... Anyone! Eddie
Jack
As CW stated _ John Steele at St Mere Eglise landed on the other side of the church (in fact two troopers landed on the church). Also the white parachute is the reserve shute - it would of been the camo shute as they jumped too low to even have time to think about using the reserve.............. R Cubed
is that a life raft in picture 6....... Anyone! Eddie Seeing it in real life I think it is as there are what seem to be compressed air cylinders with it ? Cant think what else it could be as it is linked to the other air craft bits about the museum.
