Found these on a website some time ago. dont know what is on the doors of the Morris still in service. not in British Army?.

WVEE on the doors, meaning Wheeled Vehicle Experimantal Establishment, which at the time, I think, was located at Farnborough. This would likely to be a prototype or trials vehicle, before it went into service.

Hi John, the photo of your morris was taken in June 2000 . The photo of the Morris in the scrapyard was taken in April 1988, must have gone by now. Have a original rad muff for the 1944 Morris C8 GS and dated 1944 will post more photos of it in C 8 rad muff. Original Photo is from my collection

More CS8 than C8. Ive come across what is described as a 1940 Morris CS8 recovery truck. Is this likely to be a post war civvy conversion or was it an official vehicle?

Rick,

Post war civvy conversion, no doubt about it.

Is it not this one, is it? http://ccmv.fotopic.net/p55648016.html

We´ve seen it on here before.
