Richard Farrant
Found these on a website some time ago. dont know what is on the doors of the Morris still in service. not in British Army?. WVEE on the doors, meaning Wheeled Vehicle Experimantal Establishment, which at the time, I think, was located at Farnborough. This would likely to be a prototype or trials vehicle, before it went into service.

Morris C8
Hi John, the photo of your morris was taken in June 2000 . The photo of the Morris in the scrapyard was taken in April 1988, must have gone by now. Have a original rad muff for the 1944 Morris C8 GS and dated 1944 will post more photos of it in C 8 rad muff. Original Photo is from my collection Edited September 25, 2009 by Morris C8 more info
Rick W
Would have thought the last thing you wanted for a C8 was a muff. Its gets so hot in the cabin anyway.
Morris C8
but its nice and warm in winter and you can take the side windows off and open the front up in the summer but you cant hear any one talk to you because of the noise from the engine
john wheatley (R.I.P.)
the silence from the passengers lets you concentrate on the foreign lorries that cut in a bit sharp and nearly take the outside wing off. Regards, John.
Morris C8
Yep, we had that happen to us by a foreign truck, had to go into the hard shoulder other wise we would have lost the front wing of the morris.
chevpol
got a load of photos off ebay a couple of months ago, taken at Southsea, unsure of year, but there were MVCG banners in a couple of the shots. Do these vehicles belong to anybody here? Mark
Morris C8
Think the rad muff would come in handy now with all this cold and snow.
Rick W
More CS8 than C8. Ive come across what is described as a 1940 Morris CS8 recovery truck. Is this likely to be a post war civvy conversion or was it an official vehicle?
