Great War truck Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Is this the same one, or are there two of these things around now. A heck of a lot of work involved and a bit of fun. A better job than covering your ferret with checker plate and chrome. Tim (too) Quote
Mark Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Has he just sold it Lee, or just bought it ? Quote
sirhc Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 I believe the guy who built the one in Lees photo did 2, one was for sale, and he was going to keep one. Sell one to pay for the pair I guess. It looks like 43x to Stug conversions are quite popular! Quote
Marmite!! Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Has he just sold it Lee, or just bought it ? He had it up for sale at 25k, it was still for sale at Beltring but not sure if he's sold it now... Quote

Tony B Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 That's the trouble with Boy Scout's they do have a tendency to stick bettween the mud flaps and the tyres. :n00b: Quote

It looks like 43x to Stug conversions are quite popular! They are. Spielberg used 432 chassis for several vehicles in SPR and BOB. Very sympathetic conversions too. So sympathetic that at last year's Tankfest at Bovvy, I embarrassed myself by suddenly and loudly noticing, hours after I had walked around one at very close quarters. "Hang on! It's missing a roadwheel!" Quote
