andym
When reassembling the brake pipe banjos on my Stolly, I came across an issue where the modern copper washers that you buy in assorted kits are not only thinner than the originals but also harder so don't squash properly. At Barry Ring's suggestion I annealed and reused the old ones, but can anyone suggest a supplier of decent quality new ones? Andy
7VHU
Hi Andy, have you tried annealing, either the new or the original ones. Quick heat to red and dunk then good to go. Peter
andym
I have, as I said above, but I'd appreciate knowing a supplier who has decent ones in the first place! Andy
Scammell4199
I've used several places before. I seem to remember one that had a massive selection on website. I don't think this is the one i'm thinking of, but they do have a fairly extensive selection: https://www.greasemonkeydirect.com/collections/copper-washers?page=1 Good luck. Citroman
I bought mine from an (truck) brake service firm.
attleej
I think I got mine for the Conqueror's fuel injection system from Simply Bearings and on-line. John
andym
Thanks all - I've solved the immediate issue now but I'd like to have a reliable source for the future. Andy
