  1. Hi all, anyone know the size and tpi of the flywheel retaining nut for a flying flea. I've stripped the nut on mine and need to replace it. I think it's a 9/16 26tpi but I'm not sure. Cheers, Alan
  2. Hi all, I need to cut a new woodruff key slot in my crankshaft. Can anyone help or recommend someone.
  3. Hi everyone, has anyone got a flying flea crankshaft for sale, specifically looking for the flywheel side. The slot for the woodruff key has worn, not sure if anyone has managed to repair or is it just replace? Let me know. Thank you, Alan
  4. Not yet, I will anouce on this form when I know.
  5. I mentioned this event a while ago, I'm looking to confirm numbers so if you can make it, let me know. https://www.rememuseum.org.uk/Event/wartime-britain-23
  6. No problem the event is open to the public. Hopefully see you there.
  7. Hi, ideally yes as its a wartime Britain event. Or replicas would be good. Why are you asking, what have you got? Cheers, Alan

Looking to display WW2 vehicles if anyone can help, let me know. Event takes place at the REME Museum at RAF Lyneham, weekend of May 13th. https://www.rememuseum.org.uk/Event/wartime-britain-23 Cheers all, Alan
  9. Hi everyone, I'm working on putting together a display of WW2 military vehicles at https://www.rememuseum.org.uk/Event/wartime-britain-23 It's over the weekend of May 13th at RAF Lyneham. If anyone can make it, let me know. Cheers all, Alan
  10. Apologies, Ron. Yes, the Caple show. Some braved it in the main arena after the tanks had churned up all the ground. I'm sure they regretted it after.
  11. Hi Gary, Thank you for the speedy reply. I was thinking about this one https://accessories.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/accessory-shop/air-filter/19007 I know it is not right but I'm looking for something to stop the dust and smaller particles getting in! I was at a military show this weekend in a very dusty field and was not comfortable riding the bike, so I'm looking for something that's a bit more practical and easy to remove when the bike is on display and not being ridden! Thanks for your help. Alan
  12. Hi Gary, did you ever get round to fitting an air box? I have the same bike and I want to stop the C**P getting into the carb and ultimately engine. Would be interested to hear what you ended up doing? Thanks Alan
  13. Hi Lex, you have a great bike, nice restoration. Reason I'm asking is that I've been looking for an original and the 1948 one has come up for sale. Thanks for the advice. Unless I can get the 1948 one cheap, I won't bother. Thanks again Alan
  14. Hi all, question for those more in the know. How much would you expect to pay for a civilian 1948 RE125 restored to a good standard and running. Also your thoughts on taking it back to military spec, would it be worth doing? Your thoughts/comments would be appreciated. Cheers
