I am confident enough to declare "mystery solved". Do we know how the boilers would be used? For heating water...but for cooking food? Laundry? Washing? Well done @skiprat There was one sold by the Norfolk Antique and Reclamation Centre. They also identified it as having been made by ‘The Carron Company’ and called ‘The farm boiler’. https://norfolkreclamation.co.uk/19th-c-cast-iron-agricultural-farm-boiler-by-the-carron-company-the-farm-boiler.html

A quick internet search shows various similar boilers by various agricultural suppliers, foundries etc. and refererred in old agricultural supplies catalogues to as 'pig swill boilers', 'dairy, farm or laundry boilers' etc. For service use laundry seems plausible, or 'mass catering' for stews, soups etc. like a gulashkanone?
Oh Five
https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/205200266 Could they be this type of stove? I have seen more barrel shaped cookers that have a large pan in the top and the fire underneath. The two on the right of the stack appear to be viewed from the back. The door to the fire being on the front. There looks to something sticking out from the side. This looks, to me, like the picture originally shown. It could be the outlet/connection for a flue. https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/205350981 The barrel shaped cookers were called 'Soyer'. This one is a very close if not complete match. Many thanks Oh Five for finding that image... A colleague is back in the Red Sea next week and will check to see if there are casting marks visible.
