Joris
That's a rediculous amount of money! I've seen good GMC's been sold for that money.

lightweight
Just out of interest, why are Jimmies so cheap? Have the Lightweight up for sale and was looking for something 40's to replace it with. Was looking for something MW or WC51 sized, but for less bucks you get a lot of truck!
Rick W
GMC's are cheap because they are like the Mondeo's of the MV world!
Jack
Just out of interest, why are Jimmies so cheap? To be honest and despite what Rick just said - they are cheap as they have huge amounts of style and grace and elegance and they aren't many folks around who can compliment that, there are only a select few of us who have all of the above. .....most folks drive Dodges and those Jeeps things. Out.
Rick W
....and you can get a lot of shopping in the back.. ;-)
Joris
GMC's are cheap because they are big, not everybody has storage for a GMC. Since they are big they are even less fuel efficient as a Dodge or a Jeep and maintenance can become quite expensive. Changing 10 tires will cost you a small fortune! In the Netherlands you need a truckdrivers licence to be able to drive a GMC, this is quite expensive (at least €5000 to get it). Thus there are fewer people interested thus they are cheaper.... Joris
I agree, put a Mack next to it and the GMC does not look like a Mens truck anymore. More like a sissy truck.... http://nieuwint.net/ww2/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=524&g2_serialNumber=1[/img]

lightweight
I had assumed that, being fairly big, maintaining one would be a nightmare - presumably they are no more complicated than anything else, just bigger? Wouldn't need a tent if I had a Jimmy would I :-D
Joris
You wouldn't need a house when you've got a Mack, that's for sure!
