This helmet, the 1st Div and a 506 have been used by me as a re-enacter in the filming of a documentary about US troops in the Ardennes. The DVD will be released in 3-4 months time. ford 369 Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 Here a detailed photo of the 1st Div. marking.Note the corkstructure, made to resemble a few months of age. Lots of re-enacters use a 65 year old helmet with totally flattened cork, nice but they weren't that old in WW2...
