fesm_ndt
??????? I have no idea what paint is nail polish but I found it is incredibly durable and comes in pretty colours of course . Have used it from marking tools to doing those fiddly bits on the cars. I marked some spanners with nail polish and some with spraypaint and 2 years later the polish ones are still marked. One HSE warning though dont let your missus catch you sorting through her nail polish collection. You could buy as gifts camo colours

Lwt Big Cheese
It's good for touching up bike petrol tanks when chipped. Even better if the tank is red!

nz2
Also good for repairing electrical contections and holding wiring in place when dealing with magnetos. Advantage is being able to use nail polish remover to soften the join and remove a part. A nice range of colours too! Doug;)
Paul Drake
I believe nail polish is enamel, nail polish remover is good for removing enamel from enamelled wire prior to brushing clean and soldering.

Rover8FFR
Just be aware that nail polish remover has special oils and conditioners embedded in it so the solvent does not damage the nail tissue. Thats why it can leave a residue.
Davie
Just be aware that nail polish remover has special oils and conditioners embedded in it so the solvent does not damage the nail tissue. Thats why it can leave a residue. Best just to use acetone which is the main ingredient in nail polish remover.
