Jack
The good ship Oddball dropped by yesterday for a cup of tea and an ad hoc BBQ (yes the rumours are true, he has nearly finished moving house - some were concerned that he was physically moving THE house and not just 'moving' house). Anyway, I have never ridden in a Jeep before and my baptism of fire came uesterday as we went off roading around and ancient, steep sided woodland. I must say that they are a blooming impressive bit of kit.........I want one!

demon
Off roading a vintage jeep is one of the most enjoyable experiences. Here's few of the pictures from my trips. http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/data/792/DSC00813.JPG[/img] My friend Richard in his 45GPW http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/data/792/DSC01458.JPG[/img] Of course the trips to Norway are always fun... http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/data/792/DSC02109.JPG[/img] http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/data/792/medium/155_5571.JPG[/img] The only down side is the damage the muddy water does to your jeep. you must strip and clean all the huds if you're going to do the really dirty stuff. Enigma
Cool pics! I'd like to go do the Winterrally in the Ardennes like I did 3 times before. Howevet I'd have to sell the WC21 first so I can buy a Command Car.

Degsy
You can't have been in it for long Jack, they must be one of the most bum numbing vehicles ever produced and you must know the troops' name for them, 'Pneumonia Wagons'! :? I will now retire to the underground bunker to avoid all the incoming.
