  1. Great vid Nick, Floyd is all your own work and you got there in the end, and thats what we're all here for, just helping each other out and having fun.......before you know it you'll be passing all this stuff on to the next generation! PS WHAT??? NO JAKE SOUNDS?
  2. Had agreed value years back but never updated it. Big question is, how much has this raised your premium by, and how much damage would be needed to write it off so you could claim that amount?
  3. Having that Scammell / Valentine combo along would not be a second best option, it would look great and should be quite a draw for a large non military audience. Go for it Rick!
  4. If you are trying to up load pics you have taken yourself it might be you have your camera set to take poster large 16:9 size high quality pics, this is often the default setting. Reset it to medium or small 4:3 size. If the pics are from some other source use Picasa or similar program to re-size them, save, then upload.
  5. :stop: :nono: NO NO NO....I know a chap who took out an artery in his groin with one of those firing into a steel beam, ricocheted back out, he very nearly died! And my dad bought one and fired it straight through a solid brick house wall and left a neat hole in the customers bedroom mirror! :shake: it never came out of it's box again..
  6. Another stallholder one MV owner trying on overalls at a W & P stall, having trouble finding any to fit his manly midriff.. 'Have you got any to fit a pregnant man?' Young girl serving.. 'I'll go and ask my mum'
  7. These have been discussed before but perhaps not your specific questions, this link may help, more links at the bottom of this page... http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?21584-Military-Austin-7-s&highlight=Military+austin
  8. In there defence  I'm pretty sure this was a training exercise... Prism Defence was formed in 2004, and consists of a team of highly-skilled test pilots, flight test engineers, and other ship and aviation engineering specialists. Our niche is rotary wing flight test, particularly ship aircraft interface testing, with Prism members having been responsible for more than a dozen such trials for the navies of Australia, New Zealand, Denmark and Sweden. Prism Defence is 100% Australian owned. http://www.prismdefence.com/organisation.htm
  9. Parkour Scammell c'est donc là que vous avez été récemment Mike!
  10. How scary is this... :shake: :sweat:men and machine, in perfect harmony! Something went wrong...
  11. Well that impressed the heck outa me too! Sorry slipped into John Wayne mode..
  12. Word of warning re 140 in the gearbox, I know a few owners with worn boxes use it. But in a good box, OK in summer, but if you go for a drive round on a really freezing new years morning like I did, expect your oil pressure gauge to read 15 before starting and be bending against the 25 psi stop at tickover forevermore! I suspect it may even cause pump and other damage too when very cold.
  13. Just seen this, think there have been others like it but it can't hurt to keep up the pressure! https://submissions.epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/183
  14. I've got this on VHS, have digitalized it but it is lurking somewhere on an old disused PC, the program it is taken from was Classic Trucks (1995) will try and find it later..
  15. It's nice to see you have taken the trouble to make prints, although we would expect nothing less of you! It's a bit worrying that more pictures than ever are being taken of everything now, but most are just left on a CD or HDD in a drawer somewhere. Will people be bothered to get out an ancient PC to look through them in 50 yrs time? Much easier to find an old album and flick through it, so well done!
  16. Excellent stuff Nick... did you get the clutch brake working yet?
  17. Nah, reckon they've got enough Explorers and they're not ready for the Rugged one yet!
  18. Nice one Andy..:thanx: Who are you two trying to kid? Anyone can see that last bit is playing backwards.....
