  1. The quality of the restorations and workmenship really shines through on all those vehicles I m sure the owners had to have worked very hard to get them to that level . Well Done.
  2. It's quite a nice looking trailer as is . Does it tow as good as it looks? What would it max. road speed be 30 mph or so ?
  3. Be sure to photograph them anyhow , sometimes when you use photoshop or other digital software programs its possable to change the contrast or other values and read what the eye can not .
  4. I hope the soldier you helped out repaid his debt to you with interest for you taking on his error so selflessly !!!

  12. Almost back on the road !!! really impressive job , Hope you didnt part with too much skin while doing the restoration . Looking foreward to sharing a ride along via video clip soon .
  13. Never seen anything like it ! quite a feat to do peace time let alone in a war zone where they could be back to the fight at anytime.

  15. What a job ...And the pressure of a fixed deadline to boot ! Amazing how everything came together in time and you made the entire trip as well with out any mishaps .

  19. How bad did it get you ? will you temporary be loosing the nails on both or did it hit further down ? Sorry to hear of your accident , I guess making some sort of wedge or spacer to keep the hatches from closing completely isnt much of an answer as you would need to put it in place and take of often so would not be used .

  21. They must have been well cared for in storage or have these already had some cleaning and painting done to them ? Nice to see them in any case.
  22. Ray , you have as much right to vent about things as the rest , sometimes you just have to . Your information about Military life is very educational as I never served but can admire those that either are now or have in the past . Most accounts of military service tend to focus on combat experiances , while the training and day in and day out work gets only a brief mention , Your filling in that part and its interesting to read .
  23. I m suprised that no one has mentioned that Nellie Bly under took to do a trip around the world solo in 1889 to see if one could really go around the world in 80 days or less . She in fact did it in 72 days 6 hours 11 minutes and 14 seconds in a race against another woman also a reporter . Nellie went east the other west around the globe.Also her work to uncover how bad condition were in the insane asylums as they were labeled in her day .
