  3. Many years ago, I went to a museum in Bulgaria, quite a few statues & busts of the Communist great & good were just dumped in the long grass around the back.

  6. It's a German one. Panzertriebwagen Nr 16 (PzTrWg 16 or PT 16).Russian 76,2 mm FK 295/1 gun in a turret. Similar with a 105mm howitzer. Other versions had panzerIV turrets, Flakvierling or 37mm Flak guns, flat beds with (often) Pz38t on them, that had ramps to off-load & pursue partisan attackers, others mounted complete, obsolete, French tanks or some of "Bekker's Funnies" on them.

That looks like what's happened to the engineless B24s shown in the photo after the motorbikes. As to what was left in the Pacific theatre! Morotai Tinian Manilla airport.   19. One of the Berthas survived into the Korean War era! Nixie II was the A7V at Aberdeen. Off to the scrapman! A segment of her armour & mg position was saved, on display at the Indiana Military Museum. I wonder now that the AWM has finally got hold of "Mephisto", whether they'll ever let her go back to QL!
