  1. Not mine, Staghound MkIII I believe.
  2. Charioteers, Staghound, assorted AMX.
  3. The blurb says "Last run at the Flying Legends show, Duxford 2014." 128's his Merlin on a stand too, "was last used at Duxford in June 2011, oil loss during storage is evident" I remember seeing both of these at shows. Hopefully, whoever buys them will continue to show them off.
  4. So, cross-ply tyres, drum brakes with asbestos-lined calipers and you can't do your shopping in it?
  5. My word, does look like it's a Mk1, rear hatch, 17pdr & Besa. The Cent DD on the ranges is well known & deserving of preservation. http://www.fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=112&t=40502
  6. Looks lie an F2 or G. One preserved at Fort Benning, might be that one or it may be one that ended its days on the ranges.
  7. I wonder if Ralph Lovell's got one?
  8. Ah, the real reason behind the Galileo satellite system rears its head for the first time. Put forwards as simply an alternative to the US GPS, so the Yanks couldn't switch our sat nav service off. Always been suspected that road charging was the prime reason behind it.
  9. That's what happens when you miss your turn & wind up on the A2!
  10. Or a new restoration project or three? https://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set/?set=a.561379264009204.1073742014.333410060139460&type=3

  19. The Cruiser tanks are Charioteers, others include Sherman Fireflies (Super Shermans?) , you've mentioned the T55s, M47s & looks like a couple of Saladins in there too. BTR 152? Panhard armoured car, AMX13, Ferret. More photos here. http://bashny.net/t/en/76665
  20. It was falling to bits. Unfortunately, it was junked before someone around here who knows how to stitch falling to bits British kit together, could get it to add to his rust mountain!
  21. http://warisboring.com/articles/paraguay-brings-back-sherman-tanks/ Only trouble is, their army's still using it!:nut:
