Poptopshed Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 One of my War and Peace purchases was a spare wheel mount for the front of the wide track sankeys. Finally got around to fitting it last weekend. Any one got a trailer with one of these fitted or pictures of one fitted without the wheel? I know alot of trailers have come out of Withams recently with these fitted. What i want to know is if there was some sort bump stop fitted lower down on the face of the tub against the tire? sirhc Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 Jon, I think there's another part which connects to the trailer chassis to take the weight. I think it bolts on between the tub and those to lifting eyes. There's a Withams sale soon, might be worth going for a look to see if you can find one and get some photos. It looked like some sort of spreader plate had been fitted between those bolts so it could well be the top plate of some sort of arm. I will try to get down to Withams in September.
