Last year we made it just over 1/2 way before breaking down, the year before it didn't even make it off the drive. Hopefully this year we'll make it all the way. I will also be taking my Land Rover! fv1609 Posted June 26, 2008 Share Posted June 26, 2008 I shall be there in the pig. I will have my megger with me so if you have any spare distributor condensers that you want testing let me know. I have a DC clamp meter. This means, without making any connection to the wiring, I can measure the current drawn from a particular circuit. Useful for measuring current drawn from starter motor, charging rate from dynamo/alternator, current drawn from light & ancilleries, testing leakage currents etc. No catch, no fee.
