BIGREDONE Posted June 9, 2008 Share Posted June 9, 2008 (edited) Hi all Just a few snaps of the weekend unfortunately I did not get any of the beach landing. About eight US, British and German re-enactment groups there. Very good layed back and enjoyable event, small but friendly. Plenty of veterans who were very pleased with all the re-enactors efforts in remembrance to their sacrifices during the war. Army historic aircraft flypast after the church service on the Saturday and a small skirmish display on the Sunday including my jeep getting mortared by the Germans and killing me, but im ok now.
