abn deuce
A photo of what looks like a Morris Commerical C8 Mk III in Italy, crewed by New Zealand soldiers. Perhaps they are using the vehicles winch to assist vehicles up the hill just out of the photo to the right ?Of course the caption is wrong about being an APC. Could this be a FAT-5? New Zealand soldiers taking a break near rear of armored personnel carrier as transport trucks and ambulances push on towards the front lines through deep snows somewhere in the Ortona sector during the Allied push to oust German troops from Italy. Location: Italy Date taken: 1944 Photographer: George Rodger

abn deuce
No you did'nt mis-understand I didnt know what the FAT-5 looked like for sure and guessed it might be if it was in the snow, since the FAT -5 was rated for cold weather conditions . Thanks for showing me your Morris.

Seeing the light under the chassis, it looks like the convoy lamps were substitiuted for something brighter for the film as you do not get that amount of light usually.
