Morris Commercial gallery

A photo of what looks like a Morris Commerical C8 Mk III in Italy, crewed by New Zealand soldiers. Perhaps they are using the vehicles winch to assist vehicles up the hill just out of the photo to the right ?Of course the caption is wrong about being an APC. Could this be a FAT-5?

New Zealand soldiers taking a break near rear of armored personnel carrier as transport trucks and ambulances push on towards the front lines through deep snows somewhere in the Ortona sector during the Allied push to oust German troops from Italy. Location: Italy Date taken: 1944 Photographer: George Rodger

Not very good at lorry recognition, so may be on the wrong thread. I apologise if it is and ask that somebody puts it in the appropriate place. I came across this (Night Convoy, UK 1941) while looking for bike piccies. Hope you like it....

They are actually, early CMP trucks. Seeing the light under the chassis, it looks like the convoy lamps were substitiuted for something brighter for the film as you do not get that amount of light usually.
