Gotta ask this question last week whilst sitting on the computer i heard a familier sound coming down the A259 looked out the window to see a Milly MK1 and Explorer heading towards Hythe then low and behold the same pair came back heading to the Romney Marsh on sunday evening (last night) any of you guys have any thing to do with it. The Milly had what looked like a standard 4 ton truck container in the back

Hi Les,

Bernard as usual is correct. On the way out on Thursday evening, and returning Sunday from this years IMPS trip to Bethune, commemorating the towns liberation by the British and Canadians in September 1944. No problems with either truck, just rather damp weather, and very tired shoulders from driving the Militant around far too many windy country lanes and roundabouts!

That looked a nice one ! Origionally from Herne Bay when Paul bought her off Ebay I believe ! Good price and apparently never used for recovery after leaving military ! Must admit I was a bit gutted when I saw her sell on Ebay as I had just bought Daisy and she requires a lot of work to get her how I would like ! Sods law ! Hope you keep the Meadows ! Did you buy all the spares to ? I had offered to buy them from the chap in Herne Bay if the buyer hadn't wanted them ! :-D

Good work there Gritineye.

And there was me thinking I'd seen a good percentage of surviving ones at Dorset. Seems there's more about than I thought. Only means a greater chance of owning one, oneday!

Sincere apologies for the lack of plate! Sadly propshaft vibration was so bad on the way to and from Biggin Hill only the 4 was left from a brand new plate after 80 miles. All better for W & P, but no one making plates there this year!

Made one on the day for Bethune, and did everything except fit it! It made it slightly awkward for Simon at Dover when the clerk tried to find the booking using the army reg. number. Once in France it was one of many running with army plates??
