Morris C8
How much would a 25Pdr limber cost as this guy has 3 for sale, not to bad nick. see photos. He has 3 of them. i wonder if its worth buying them. One dated 1943. The guy wants to sell all 3 in one lot. i don`t need them all. earlymb
Nice, they made a 1:1 scale model of the original Dinky Toy ☺️ Great find about the limbers!

earlymb
If you have the storage space for it, I think you'll be able to recover your money if you decide not to keep it, and you can take your time deciding... It looks more or less complete
Morris C8
At last i bought it and is now here. The seller put the price up 400 and i said no we had a deal and walked away. He came back to me with the original price so i bought it and paid someone to collect it. Photos of it today in the rain.

attleej
Well done for saving them! I do not claim to be an expert but do be careful about exporting these from one country to another. If it was to be exported from UK, I think that it might well need an export licence as it is a trailer "specially designed for carrying ammunition". Morris C8
Can any one let me know where i can buy some wheel nuts for the limber as there are only two on each wheel when i bought it.
attleej
They would be easy enough to machine but would need a lathe and a milling machine with an indexing head. They cant be made from hex bar because the seating is a larger diameter than the hex. What is the thread on the stud? John
Morris C8
The limber is in storage and not at home and i am not that skilled to make them.
