Dougiebarder
I thought so-are they grave stones, or more temporary markers? The bases seem a bit thin (3") to be permanent :dunno:
fv1609
they represent the Religious belief of the person underneath. Yup. Anybody suggest what religions these three markers indicate?

The bases seem a bit thin (3") to be permanent :dunno: I don't think they are stones, as you say 3 inches is rather narrow. The materiel was not specified, this is from an Administration in the Field publication, so it would only be a relatively temporary marker. fv1609
Square- Cof E Coffin lid- Catholic Paddle -Jewish. Good try, but they are none of those. I excluded two from the list at the outset otherwise it would have made it too obvious what they were all about. Anyway here are all five markers used. Edited November 21, 2009 by Marmite!!
